Annual Conference and Exhibitor InformationWe are excited to announce this year’s Annual Educational Conference on Saturday, October 24, 2020. We are pleased to invite your company to showcase your business and support our region’s Parkinson community.
This year, we expect the conference to attract over 900 individuals from throughout Northern California. Attendees will include people with Parkinson’s, their carepartners, family, friends, and interested members of the community. Others in attendance will be medical professionals including movement disorder specialists, neuro-physical therapists and other Parkinson’s experts who will share their expertise as speakers. This exciting event will feature presentations by Parkinson’s professionals on research and evolving treatments. Parkinson’s disease non-motor symptoms will also be addressed in detail. Stretch breaks and networking time is scheduled within the program to encourage participants to mingle and learn. Journal Club sponsorship The Journal Club is a quarterly meeting of Parkinson disease professionals-designed to engage all in a sharing of information, research and resources. The Parkinson Path Our journal, The Parkinson Path, is provided to over 3,000 recipients throughout Northern California. The quarterly publication includes pertinent information and updates on events, support groups, services, new technologies, and articles provided by local PD experts. Corporate Sponsorship OpportunitiesJournal Club – A quarterly gathering of 20 to 25 specialists including, Movement Disorder Neurologists, Neuro-Physical Therapists, Neurosurgeons, Nurse Practitioners, Social Workers, Mental Health professionals involved in Parkinson’s Disease care from the four major health systems (Kaiser Permanente, Dignity/Mercy, Sutter & UC Davis) serving the greater Sacramento region. We meet for a hosted dinner at a centrally located restaurant, the Zinfandel Grille. The sponsor is listed on all promotional materials for the program, as well as the PANC website. and receives a display table, with ample time to interact with the attendees before and after the scheduled program. Sponsorship is $2,500. Note: All dates for 2021 have been reserved. However, dates for 2022 are available.
ParkinsonWISE® – A unique 2-hour education program taught by Neuro-Physical Therapists, who specialize in movement disorders. The program was developed through a partnership between PANC and Kaiser Permanente Neuroscience and provides basic Parkinson’s disease information and education, as well as hands on physical therapy instruction to individuals in the fitness and wellness communities who are currently working with the Parkinson’s Community, (fitness trainers, yoga instructors, massage therapists, etc.) Sponsors are listed on all materials announcing the training as well as the PANC website. Sponsorship is $500. Note: The next virtual training is August 22, 2020. Parkinson Path Publication – A quarterly publication, (8-12 pages) mailed to approximately 3,000 addresses; emailed to another 1,000 and posted on the PANC website www.panctoday.org. Additionally, Parkinson Path is sent to our 38 Support Groups and selected physician offices, for their distribution. Sponsors receive a ½ page, with logo, for an article, directed to people with Parkinson’s and/or their Caregivers. Sponsorship is $1,000 per issue. Note: The next newsletter will publish October 2020. Facilitators’ Workshop - The annual gathering of Parkinson Association Support Group Facilitators is scheduled for August 28 & 29, 2020. Leaders come together for education, fellowship and the exchange of insights and best practices. Sponsors are listed on all promotional materials for the workshop, as well as the PANC website and participate in a 45-minute roundtable with participants, with ample time to interact with the attendees before and after the scheduled program. Sponsorship is $500. Walk to Cancel Out Parkinson’s – The Fourth Annual R. G. Smith Walk to Cancel Out Parkinson’s (the COP Walk) a fund raiser hosted by the Sacramento Embarcadero Lions Club for the benefit of the Parkinson Association of Northern California. All proceeds are donated by the Lions to PANC and help support programs in our local communities - $100,000 has been raised to date! The Walk will be held on April 3, 2021 at Maidu Regional Park in Roseville, CA. Sponsors are listed on all promotional materials for the event as well as the PANC and COP Walk websites and receive a display table, with ample time to interact with the 500+ attendees throughout the day’s festivities. Sponsorships range from $500-$2,500. Annual Educational Conference – The 2020 event will be held virtually on October 24, 2020 and will be amazing! The keynote will be given by Dr. Soania Mathur who was recently given the WPC award for Distinguished Contribution at the World Parkinson Congress in Kyoto Japan. Sponsors are listed on all promotional materials for the event, as well as the PANC website and be in our Exhibitor’s Hall. Sponsorships range from $1,000 to $10,000.
