We are excited to provide this forum for individuals with Parkinson’s disease, their care partners, and loved ones to connect and share mobility-related items in the Northern California region. If you’re looking for a new or gently used item, or you have items that could help others find independence and support, this platform is available to facilitate the exchange to buy, sell, or trade.

Items for Parkinson’s Needs Only: This marketplace is specifically for mobility-related items for people living with Parkinson’s disease. This includes walkers, canes, wheelchairs, lift chairs, grab bars, exercise equipment, adaptive devices, and more. Medications or syringes are not accepted.

Honesty in Descriptions: Please provide accurate descriptions of items, including their condition, age, and any defects. This will help ensure transparent and fair transactions.

Safety First: All items should meet safety standards and be in good working order and clean. If you are selling or trading an item, make sure it is safe for use by someone with mobility challenges or Parkinson's disease.

Respectful Behavior: Treat all members with kindness and respect. This is a community of individuals and families who share a common goal, so be courteous in all interactions.

No Discrimination: The marketplace is inclusive. Discrimination of any kind, including on the basis of age, race, gender, or disability, will not be tolerated.

Transaction Transparency: All transactions should be carried out in a transparent manner. Buyers and sellers should agree on the price or exchange terms before completing any exchange.

PANC Approval: If an item is questionable or potentially inappropriate for the marketplace, the PANC team reserves the right to remove listings or ban users.

PANC Indemnification: Unless noted as a "PANC fundraising" item, the inventory listed are not products of PANC, inspected by PANC, priced by PANC, nor will PANC claim liability for the items. PANC does not guarantee that items will find homes through this platform.

Browse the Listings
Start by browsing the available items to see if anything suits your needs. You can search for specific mobility aids, such as walkers, scooters, or grab bars.

List an item to donate or for purchase

If you have an item to give away or sell, click the "List an Item" Button

Include a clear and honest description of the item(s) you are offering, the condition, plus any relevant details including your name, email, phone number, how you prefer to be contacted, location of the item, and whether or not you are willing to deliver it.

Upload clear photo(s) of the item so others can assess the equipment and its condition.

Specify if the item is available for free or a cost.

When the item is no longer available or you want to remove the listing, return to this page and click "Remove A Listing." This will ensure you are no longer contacted about the item.

Contacting the Seller
- If you see something you’re interested in, reach out to the seller via the provided contact details (email or phone).
- Please be respectful and patient in your communication.

Once you’ve agreed on the terms with the seller, arrange a safe location for the exchange. If possible, meet in a public place or arrange for the delivery of items, taking necessary safety precautions.
If sellers would like to donate proceeds to PANC, you can receive tax donation documentation. E-mail panc@panctoday.org if interested.
